The transmitter comes with a receiver. Steering servo in ch 1, speed control in ch2. Btw, this radio is NOT compatible with FlySky's other receivers, like the ones that come with the original GT2 and the GT3C. But it is compatible with High Voltage BECs and servos.

I just looked up on the CD that was provided with this 2 channel radio and it does have a failsafe. I have been using this radio for my Axial Jeep Rock Crawler and it works really well.

Yes. Thats exactly why there is a BEC on the ESC, so you dont need a 6V battery for the receiver.

I don't know the actual range in feet of this transmitter. I use this on my Rock Crawler and I have tested it at 500 feet easily and it works very well. But you should be able to get more than that. I also just looked up in the manual to see if it tells the range, but it is not listed.

I suggest you use your right hand for the trigger, turn the control sideways and operate the direction control with your left hand.

Great system. Easy to use. Plug in everything and go. Adjustments and trimming are fine. The range is very good so far. This is a great budget system. I don't know what else to say except I recommend 4 AA rechargeable batteries. Therefore, you do not have to keep spare parts with you.

This driver is great for children ages 2 and a half. We have a lot of other drivers and all my kids started with a young man, they started using the controls they started, but when I saw this, I thought I wanted to know what was going on. So I understand, I was deeply impressed. This is great for adults, but the real test and why I want it for my 2 year old son. So I let him hold it and be able to use it better than most other controllers. Everything seems to be closer, he can wrap his little hand well. It is a miracle for him to talk about a happy child using this control outside with his truck and having fun with me and his brother and sister.

It works very well, my only problem is: it should come with a teaching CD, but it is not like that. I contacted the company, but I never received a reply. Fortunately, the device is easy to pair with the receiver. It works very well and there is enough distance, I can hardly tell the direction the car will return. I only have a problem with the distance of the old Traxxas radio.
